Nice truck. I am new here, glad I found this site. I have a 1989 F-350 4x4 Centuriun also same color interior as yours. I bought it a couple of years back. I will post pics in the future, I have a broken tibia plataue so it is hard to get around right now.

Sweet, sweet find. Good for you snaggin' this well preserved Ford!

With the headliner and side trim......... I used some rubber hose, probably 3/8, 1/2, or 5/8" and cut it down it's length to cap those rough edges. I still need to epoxy it on as the kiddies climbing in and out usually knock it out of place.

    DIY cap off trim

And you have a seriously porn red interior. The headliner looks comfy enough to sleep on.

wish my porn star red interior looked that good! lol! I like the bench seat in front. I have cup holders in mine but they suck. Tend to spill everything rather than hold on to it!

That truck used to have rear air. Thought about adding it back?

    NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Resist the DARK SIDE!!!!!!!!!

Good luck with the sale... I had so hoped for a "Clydesdale Exploration" forray with the two of our trucks in the Rubicon-ish area when I make it down to Concord/Pittsburg/Valley Ford for a family meet and greet... been 18 months, got another seat belt in the Cent filled since last time they saw us... its time...

Black dog I know I've been absent from the forum lately ( been chasing hard earned $$) but I am still looking forward to a family meet and greet when you come down to show off your family additon!!! Please look me up when you make the trek!! Funny you used the dark side analogy... my son is WAY into lego's star wars on our WII (me too) and he informed me today that he still wants to be a Jedi when he grow up but thinks he wants to be a dark side jedi ( he's 4.5...). I tried to break free from the jeep dark side but I'm hooked. Honestly the 4 door bronco is way to cherry for me abuse the way I want to. The last 2 months I've been kicking this around and finally made the decision today. Last week I came across a smokin deal and bought a 2002 4x4 2500 Suburban with 49k miles. This is replacing mommas minivan and also will serve double duty for pulling the boat and 8 person family hauler. I really miss getting deep into the woods with the jeeps and am planning on building a moderate cherokee with full roof rack and will likely fab up a custom trailer for the additional gear when necessary. The few times I tried to take the bronco deep I ran into width and trail visibility issues. Before I hurt a cool piece of history it's time to pass along to a better owner... Although while starting to clean it out today i had some pre-sellers remorse... I really do love this beast!! It's been a wonderful rig.

    Vehicle history that I know:
Purcahsed from original owner... He is still lookign for literature and I'll share with group if/when he finds it. 88 purchased Jan 89. Owner went to Future ford to look for a F350 crew. Dealer had 2 4 door broncos(1 gas 1 diesel) on the lot.. Sticker was 40k plus and out of budget. That night the GM of dealer drove detailed Centurion to orig owners home (unannounced) parked it in his drive and sold it for cost (27k???).
Orig owner took excellent care. Had the upholstry, headliner, crate 460 @ 90k miles, roof fixed and entire vehicle repainted over the years. His kids are grown and he decided it was time to pass along to a new family!
this was buried in original post.... the original owner bought new in 89 for what dealer stated was cost( 88 vehicle in 89) as they were motivated to move it. He wasn't sure what the number was anymore but 27k was what came to mind.

I'll post recent pics in the for sale section tomorrow night after I finishing giving here a good bath. Took the wheels off today to rotate tires and power polish up the rims that I neglected to keep shinny this winter. Also bought new hub cap centers and lug nuts today as they were showing some age too.

I hope someone who really appreciates and enjoys the rig picks it up. I'm going to post it exclusively on 4doorbronco for a couple weeks before taking it to craigslist and ebay.

No rear AC that I can find!! Momma was pregnant last summer( always pregnant in the summer, cold winters I guess!) and she REEEAAALLLLYYY wanted rear air as the front AC blows cold but is no match for 100 degree Sacramento days and all that air volume.

Audra had mentioned that thought it had rear AC originally but I think I missed the cut!
