Where did the roof racks go?.... Would you sell'um to me?
I still have just a 7' door on my shop, so if I remove the roof rack and put the smaller tires and wheels on it just squeaks in. I just havent put them back on, the tracks are still there.
I have a couple of different Westin roof racks at the shop that I could sell worth the money. They are brand new and include all mounting hardware, tracks, towers and crossbars. If you are interested let me know and I will unbox them and figure out which models they are.

That sounds good. I am interested in one of them. I am more interested in one that will fit where the centurion racks went.

I will check them out tommorow and let you know what I have available. I think I may have more than just a couple, so I will lay them out, get some pics and price them out for you both.

Here is what I have, these racks are from Westin, but the manufacturer is RhinoRack out of Australia.
The first pic is one full set layed out, the 3rd and 4th pic are what they look like assembled of course with just a short chunk of the track. The tracks that mount to the roof are real similar to the factory Centurion racks, and since the bolts slide into a track on the aluminum you could hit the holes from the factory roof rack.
    1st complete set includes:
-1 pair 63" tracks (these would have to be cut down to fit the Bronc top)
    -1 pair 60" sport crossbars
-1 pair 60" heavy duty crossbars
    -set of 4 4" towers
-set of 4 landing pads (the piece that attaches the towers to the tracks)
-all nesc hardware, endcaps and instructions
    2nd set includes
-same as above but with 48" tracks
I only have the two sets, I thought I had more becouse of all of the crossbars. I am throwing in the extra sets of crossbars, this way you could determine which fits your needs better. These racks typically sell for around $350.00 not including the extra crossbars, Ill sell these to sets for $160.00 each plus shipping. Let me know if you are interested.

    I'm interested in a set.

First I need to go outside and look at the Centurion to give it another study.

Can you post a photo of the the Centurion Rack that came with your Cent so I can compare the two.

The tracks are similar in appearence, but the towers look different. They can be removed easier than the factory racks if that is a concern and they are rated much heavier than the factory roof rack.

I have heard that the late model 92-96 broncos fiberglass tops had integrated steel roll cage for additional protection, but I never have confirmed this.

The factory roof racks are hard to come by, I think they were nomad? We have been watching for some time and haven't seen them on ebay. They still make a glider series that might be the same thing, just never took the time to find out.

I called the company that makes the glider series and they informed me that they are no longer making them. I was on the phone for 2 hours to them in Canada and to find this out.

Westin has one that looks pretty similar to the factory rack. It is called the Sport series rack, rail mount. The tracks are the same as the ones that I have, I am not sure if the cross bars would interchange between the two or not, the crossbars would have to be cut down to make it work if they would interchange.

So its been almost 2 weeks now since I have posted this and I have had a couple of people show some interest. I think the price to rust ratio has people a bit gun shy. I am really torn on this truck, I need the money but I dont want to give it away. I know it has some rust, but I have fixed worse, and the truck feels so solid and runs great.

I drove the truck today and while going down one of the main thouroghfairs through Springfield, I got stopped at a light next to a turned up Duramax(the stack of 3 guages on the a pillar lead me to believe it was turned up). We both rolled off of the light easy and about 10 mph (and for lack of better judgement) I layed into the old 4 door. The Duramax was ready and he layed into it also, we both ran up to about 75mph and I held a fenders lead the whole way. I was very proud, I know this truck runs good, but to match it with a juiced Duramax says a lot.

The price is dropping...... 9000.00 obo

Also the Westin racks pictured above are still available, they can be purchased through my place of buisness with any cc. Just call or pm me and I will give you the specifics.

sheepman Whatever happened to the grill guard the was on it?
Sorry I missed that one. I traded the guard and the factory bumper for a new bumper with out holes drilled in it. That was a tough decision because it was a nice heavy duty guard. I just like the look of the 92-96 front end too much to cover it up with a grill guard.

I priced the truck here locally for 8000.00, but the kid that wants it can not get financing. So I guess that means that 8000.00 would buy it, any takers?

I just took a deposit for my truck. The couple buying it live here locally and are really excited. They are not members of the board........yet. They are supposed to have the rest of the money to me the middle of April. I will let you guys know for sure when it has gone to its new home.
