Default Ole Stinky Hits the Road Once Again.

After 3 plus years in storage Ole Stinky is up and running again. I finally broke down and put a new clutch in the old girl. I did away with the dual mass flywheel that was coming apart and creating a massive vibration.

I used South Bend Clutch's solid fly wheel replacement and couldn't be happier. The pedal pressure in so much softer and it engages silky smooth. No more wearing out of the plastic bushings in the pedal assemble, no more blowing the seals out of the slave cylinder and no more vibration.

I drove it 3 hours Monday and she felt really good considering how long she sat and how old the fuel is. Now I need some tires!!

Congrats! Sounds like it was well worth the effort of fixing it up.

Just out of curiosity, what tires are ya thinking of going with?

Not sure about tires yet. I'd like to do a reverse shackle kit. So I'll wait to see how much room I have.

Yes, I moved several mobile homes with it. Most just one lot to another but i did move a 65 footer about 20 miles.

It sure is nice just having it in the driveway again and out of storage.

If you reverse the rear shackles you need to get beefier ones than stock if your gonna haul with it. The OEM shackles aren't engineered to be reversed and they will fold.

It’s still around. It’s a confusing joint custody kinda thing.
