    Default Estimated value 93 C350

I've been looking at centurions for about a year now. I love the 8th and 9th generation of the F series. This paired with a love for broncos seem to go hand in hand.

I ran across this 93 C350 with a 7.3 sitting up locally. I've never seen one but I mentioned it to a family friend and he so happened to know where one had been sitting for 4-5 years.

Any ways, I haven't talked to anyone yet but I was hoping I could get some opinions, problem areas to look at, and an estimated value on this vehicle.

    Any help would be great.

Looks like it's "sittin" cause a LOT parts are missing. IDI diesel is OK HOWEVER who knows if it will run or not.

As is always the case the "Price" needs to match the "Condition".

    $2K you should be safe!

    Thanks vintageracer,

Its solid with no body work or rusted out areas on the exterior (still need to check the floors). This truck has been in the south so Im not too worried about things dusting out from salt. The only thing that worries me is the sun roof and getting a camper shell for the rear. Looks like the front seats are in the interior and the 2nd row is there too.

Im not a diesel mech but Id like to upgrade to a turbod 7.3 so maybe that engine not running is ok for now.

I'd like to see the roof. Those stupid chrome fender trim things are probably hiding rust as well. I would assume the motor to be a boat anchor. Free would be a good starting point.

I've never seen one with a sunroof before, how much do you want to bet that it leaks? I'd probably offer 2K or less

The tentative plan would be to patch that up. I have a sunroof on my current vehicle and have decided i don't need one.

$1500 to $2500 is about what it is worth. Offer $1500 or less and go up if you have to.

On these sort of trucks, it is sort of what someone is willing to pay.

However much money you are planing on spending to fix it up, double it.

this exactly what I would have said if I would have thought of it first. I got my 90 C350 diesel for $1000 Canadian but it needs complete resto. but it ran and drove (not well)

you might be looking at a second engien in there as Centurion usually turboed theirs. that roof looks a little scary but you can put another crewcab roof panel in there when the splice gets worked on.

    Free.

It needs a full restoration. A full restoration costs $30k. You could probably get it down to $20k of you do most of the work yourself. Keep in mind you will have a $10k truck when finished with the restoration.

Unless you can get it real cheap, you probably are better off paying more for one in better condition. How many miles are on it? If it has done any towing, the tranny is probably on its way out. That IDI is a good strong motor if it runs. Nineteen ninety three was the first year for the optional dealer installed Banks turbo kit. They are hard to kill if they are taken care of. With the intake breather missing and collecting dirt I would expect the motor to be junk. I would bet that it would almost get 20mpg if it did run. The axles are tough as nails, but the front axle has ball joints that might need to be replaced if the miles are high. If it has auto locking hubs, expect one of them to go bad and leave you stuck in the mud. A bronco cap shouldn't be too hard to come by and I believe Jeff's Bronco Graveyard still has a complete soft top available. Start looking for a crew cab donor truck for a roof and other parts to use. It looks like something I would buy, I would just fix the broken stuff and drive it. LOL
