    Default 7.3 Powerstroke in a 1985 Cabriolet?

New to the forum and just bought a 1985 Cabriolet with a blown 6.9. Wondering if anyone has put a 7.3 Powerstroke in one of these. I can get the donor vehicle which is an E350 cut in half behind the drivers seat. Number one will it physically fit? Number two are the wiring and electronics going to be doable? Any input would be appreciated.

I whole lot of work but yes, it is doable.

I have done 7.3 powerstroke conversions before but only in F-series trucks. That old 1985 will be more difficult.

I have a 1986 E150 shortvan that had an engine fire that I want to do this swap on. my doghouse is not large enough and I will need to use a diesel doghouse, but your swap will be pretty simple other than your wiring harness. you wil need the entie powerstroke engien harness and dash harness. it can be repinned to cut down and simplify the harness, but you will need wiring diagrams from the 6.9 powered van and the 7.3 powerstroek van to do it.
