    Default 5 Speed conversion

I'm doing a 5 speed conversion and today I bought a new Clutch Master Cylinder and its not quit right in place of my plate that comes off and the plate had a hole in it and was being used to route the wiring for the rear heat unit does anyone know if I need to get one for a different year to be perfect or should I just convert it to work??

I'm pretty sure they all mount the same in the era. Can you spin that mounting plate 180 degrees?

There were two versions of the master cylinder, one with the outlet port coming out parellel to the ground and another pointing straight down but I'm certain they both mount the same.
