Default Going to fix my roof

Pulled the Centurion in the drive way today to clean it out. Didnt go well. As soon as I hit the brakes, water came running in from the roof, so I decided to get started on it. Its not as bad as I expected it to be. Just a few small rust holes. Could have been much worse!

Anyone have any suggestions for rust converter/inhibitor? Don't want to spend the money on POR 15, But I will if i have to....

Not sold on Por 15 myself.
Looks like you better pull the windshield trim and get in there as well.

I will grind, sandblast, wire brush, use anything you can to remove as much rust as possible.
Then we have had good luck with just rusty metal primer.

Grind it some, then use a water proof filler like stranded fiberglass filler. Use it to build most of the depth you need.

Then a thin as possible coat of body filler on top.

Look at it this way, it will crack again, it will start to rust again. May be 5 years, may be 10. So there is no 1 time end all solution beyond cutting the old roof off and welding in a custom made one piece roof, but even then you may have rest issues where your weld seams are.

When you say rusty metal primer, are you referring to the rust o leum brand? Or any in particular?

luckily my filler wasnt very thick. 1/8 to 3/16 at the most.

Yeah rustoleum is fine, the rust converters, anything you can get designed for rust. I am not convinced one is better than the other.
