Default 1970 International Harvester 1210 travellette

    eBay Linky

    Vehicle Description

Hard to find 1970 International Harvester 1210 travellette 4WD. Truck has been repowered with a cummins engine with only 65,000 miles. It is in great shape for the year and one of the best looking old trucks around. Most things mechanically are fairly new, Such as rebuilt tranny, new tires and wheels, starter, battery. To many things to list done before my purchase. This truck would be great for anybody wanting attention or the binder enthusiast. Truck runs and drives great gas milage is amazing, my fist cummins in a long list of diesels. Cab is original for anyone wondering I get asked "who added the back half" quite often and enjoy telling them what I know about the truck. Selling due to number of toys allowed by wife. Not my choice.

please feel free to contact me with any questions (515)402-3301

Nice vintage crew cab!! I can't tell if this has one from these picks, but I swiped a 5 on 5.5 semi floating dana 60 out of a Travelall of this vintage for my f-200 BLT! Everyone that knows a little has to do a double take when they see the big punkin' with out the hubs hangin' out the end.

    That is rare to see..
Most IH's you could seal in a vacuum and they would still rust away.

I'd like to find a Scout II, last year of production they built some with a
    stinky diesel
    in them......... :bdent:

I'm working on building a similar setup!
I haven't decided on a Ford/IH 7.3 or a Cummins. What kind of mileage did you get with that thing?

It was just a link to an ebay auction.. I am not on the popular side of the board, in that I have 0 love for a PSD... but if it came to a PSD or a 6bt for a swap, and mpg was at all a concern... the boat anchor waste of a motor known as the PSD would never come near my rig.
