Default Feeler Air Dam under bumper need

Front Air Dam, lower under the bumper

I know a lot of y'all are removing the factory side steps and air dam, but is there anyone who right now is ready to purchase it?

Price would be $140.00 shipped. Brand new piece. Looking in my sig you can see it is the piece under the bumper, would come unpainted and need to be painted.

It wouldn't be from me, this is a feeler. No running boards unfortunately.

I had someone ask what the demand for this item would be and imo I felt maybe 1-2 people would need one. Past that there is not a high demand.

Especially isnce some of the guys who take them off are usually willing to give them to others who need them

There is already a mold but I don't believe it is worth his effort to mass produce from a strictly business sense POV especially since he would be sending it out and that would probably require a minimum quantity order which would sit on his shelves awhile.

We're not talking about a wow that would be great, we're talking what is his shelf space worth and is it something that makes sense money wise. I argued that if I posted this there is maybe 2 owners who would place an order within the first three-six months. He may get another 2 orders every six months, but there would be stretches with 1 or no orders. To compound problems people take those off and resale them or give them away and it does rob potential sales.

My stance is that if he does not wish to mass produce then I would buy the mold from him. Just so it does not get lost to history. It is the only centurion mold I know of that is still out there. No other vehicle ever used that front valance. I'd hate for 5 years down the road someone calling the injection place and saying eh we don't make any money on that go ahead and junk it.

makes sense to me to save it

but of course I am a pack rat so I save everything I get my hands on

nice thing is though this thing will fit any 92-96 ford Full size truck or bronco

he prolly could have a better sell to the general public like on ebay

my other half fell in love with a 96 supercab shortbox that I drug home to junk
I now get to fix it and been thinking on adding this front spoiler on it

Keep in mind that centurion owners are not the only market. That air dam will fit any F series truck or Bronco from that era.

I was thinking about making a mold this winter from mine then remaking them from fiberglass. I live in a area where we have two boat manufactures so there is lots of fiberglass experience around.

The F-series trucks that it would fit are rapidly becoming a very popular truck to restore like the late 70s trucks.

I know my truck had one originally and have contemplated replacing it when/if I could find a replacement so if someone made them that would become a reality sooner. then it'd be the project to find lights to fit the air dam. since it's already wired

Everybody says that but it is just like the bronco soft tops. Everyone wanted to buy one but when it came down to it no one did and so they went out of business. This thread had one offer of a buy until it was mentioned that they could not be produced. How many like the original question would buy one right now?

Apparently Cervinis still lists a "Front Chin Spoiler" for the '92-'96 F150. I'm sure it's styling is different than the Centurion verson. Can't hurt to have competition in the market place!

I'm still in if I can get one. Just let me know if you can get them made.

BTW - finally got my truck from Superjunk! (94 C350 IDI - Sweet!!!!)
It took a month for the shipping company to get their act together.
I will say this, he is a good man and a man of his word.
Great first experience and kudos for this site.
    I'll post pics soon.

    I STILL want a softop (or 2)

I see the market for the under bumper things, but, not exactly a bread and butter type deal..def a good thing to keep a mold though

I'm curious, what happened to the mold? Is it just sitting somewhere collecting dust?
