    Default Tires?

One more question. Yall will get tired of me before this is over. Anyone have suggestions for good tires for a c350? I looked at pro comps, but don't know anything about the quality. I drive 2-3 times a week around town and will be in the mud occasionally, but not often enough to jump to mud terrains. Any help? Thanks.

The nitto's or toyos you have on it should be great for that. At is At none do that well in the mud. Bridgestone Revo's do pretty well, ASK Audra.

The ones on it now are bf goodrich's and are nice, but are about $250.00 a piece to replace. I was hoping to get buy a little cheaper for a while till I can put some nicer ones on it.

The rim size you have is very important in determining what tire is best.

Example: I have 16.5s, so I'm very limited in what I can run. My BFG A/Ts suck butt. Belts in the tire have snapped, leaving ridges/bubbles on the sidewalls and consequently trashing the balancing.

I'm looking at Cooper Discoverer LTs, although their site says this about the tires which I'm not thrilled with... "It is especially suited for light truck drivers seeking solid all-terrain performance and wear, with less emphasis on a ride quietness. Yuck, has anyone run these tires???

    So what rim ya got?

Well for that size you've got quite a selection.

If you think the tread could be a little wider.. it *looks* like it could from your avatar... you could go up to a 315/70, it'll help it handle a bit better.

Here's a handy dandy little site... 1010tires.com w/ tire calculator

Not all tires made appear with the given sizes, only the ones they sell.
