View Full Version : bronco converted into a bed?

hows it goin folks.
ive recently taken a 93 bronco, sliced diced and cut it up 5 ways from sideways to make a bronco bed for my 87 F350 crew crew cab.
why did I do this? because yellow labs are a pain in the 10.25 and I don't want him in the cab(s)
so, building a bed was what appealed to me.
im done with it for now, I have a few projects to slam out, and wait for the weather to get nicer to finish the final touches.
I want to convert the rear window of my truck to a solid roll down back window, then get a camper gasket to seal up the bed.
that way I can go topless and still segregate the cab from the back.
kinda curious if this has been done before.
I spent 2 months working things out,
cut the back of a truck off, flipped it, pie cut it to get it close to the rear contour
ive cut the wheel wells out and replaced them with panels from a truck to get my wheel opening correct.
2 fuel doors located next to each other.
one is for diesel, and the other one I plan on using a spun aluminum tank to carry gasoline,
to gravity fill toys and generators.
