View Full Version : Looking for Custom Build Shop near Seattle

No good deed goes unpunished, and I pulled off a great one.
Decided to change out my injectors when I had the injector pump rebuilt, and had one separate in the middle.
Took an old injector, ground it down, attached to a slide hammer, and after about 20 total hours of hammering finally got it out.
When trying to get it out before resorting to slide hammer I apparently mushroomed the top of the injector over the bottom part by over tightening.
So, when I pulled it out I destroyed the head.
I already had a spare core engine I was going to build, and started pulling the head off.
Still don't have the old head off.
The above events took about 1 1/2 years.
I just don't have time left anymore, I run a construction shop, and that takes about 16 hours a day.
So, for the first time in my life I am going to have to find a decent shop, and I don't even know where to start looking.
I plan on having them convert to Cummings, and swap to an Allison tyranny.
Anyone know of an honest conversion shop in the Seattle Area?
I'm probably going to have them do a complete upgrade. Brakes, steering, suspension, etc.
Hoping to keep the interior work to the same shop, but competence is #1.
I'm going to make the truck a scuba diving special with lots of inside modifications.

Thanks in advance.
