I'll be heading through Louisville tomorrow (7/1) and I have my camera. I'd be happy to stop, get some pics and test drive it if anybody is interested.
I may stop anyway since I'm driving mine this week just to compare and get side by side pics.
Just let me know,
Bob

My wife would kill me if I bought a 3rd so if you broker a deal where I give up the 89 to receive this one and only have to toss in a few more dollars then I'll even mail you a credit card for food and gas along the way!!!

Saw this truck in person yesterday and took 59 8meg pics for anyone seriously interested. Has some abuse to it, and is definately not worth the asking price at all. I missed Bob by a few days, I know he went and saw it on Friday and also took pics. Seller is willing to bargain on this one. Once I get some sleep I'll get some of the pics resized and posted.
Right off the top of my head it needed the roof re-done, the top lights replaced, the rust all over the bottom taken care of, etc.

Excellent pics, I wouldn't mind having that truck. I see there is an inline tranny filter already, get that thing off there it is probably plugged already.
The splice in the exhaust, mine was cobbled like that, I think Centurion did stuff like that.
The rear drive shaft looked like it was bolted to the transfer case, anyone else see that? Mine was a slip in style.
It has the crew cab rear corners on it yet, like mine does and they just slid the bronco over it.
The interior looks nice.
Just a little over priced.

So I call the car salesman and tell him I already own one and would like to look at it: "No way! Some other guy that owns one just called me and wants to look at it for a friend." me: "Is his name Bob?" salesman: "Hey you know him?" me: "Yep I'm the friend http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif "
I'm betting he doesn't think these are so rare anymore. So I call Jeff for Bob's number. (sorry, yep woke him up from his nap :sigh:) ok, ok, multiple times.

I just don't know what I want. It will either be a powerstorke diesel c35o or a c150. I need a dependable truck with good gas mileage.

Hey I like living in the middle of Nowhere Thank you http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
besides as of the 11th I should be on DSL
the 250s and 350s are the only ones that get a power stroke or a big block the 150s don't get those to engines biggest they get is a 351/5.8L which is fine if all you use it for is a station wagon on steriods http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

My '94 C-150 did just fine towing a U-crawl transport and '68 Torino from WI. to ID., I don't think I'd try and pull much more than that though.
Even went through an ice storm with nary a spin, even with the stoopid surge brakes, those things should be against the law. http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif
Gee it seems like my twin all of the body problems look very familiar for some reason even the odd spot of rust on the pass side of the front winshield except mine was just where the paint had peeled off. I'd venture to say that that truck has been farther north in it's life cause lexington doesn't get that much snow.
Erik the slip yoke was eliminated mid year in 95 with the swap from the bw 1356 to something different the model number escapes my mind right now but that's the reason for the actual yoke on the back of the t-case instead of the confounded slip joint.

The truck was bought from Ohio and previously had been in Michigan I believe he said.

Yours has prettier hand painted stuff on it, but I really like the stripping on this one.

Hi folks,
I'm not sure what else I can add to this post. I did also stop and look at the truck. I took about 35 pictures also but I think Audra covered everything. I'll look through mine again but I don't think my pics show much more.
The miles are 142K and my feeling is that the truck has potential, the interior is great even though there is no power to the tv, vcp, and beer coolers but the price is way too high. If the exterior and undercarraige were as nice as the interior my opinion may be different. This truck has been off road also as evidenced by the mud and grass stuck up in the frame and body. Not that off roading is all bad but just an observation.
If the price were closer to 10K then it would be more in line. I doubt that he will move that far but who knows. I really liked the over head console and the quad four leather seats.
Audra, it was very nice to talk with you on Sunday and I'm glad you called. It was so funny since there was six of us out on the boat. My buddies wife answered the phone and made the comment about my girlfriend being on the phone. You should have seen the look on my real girlfriends face however. We have only been going out for a month or so and she didn't know what to think at first plus my friends were teasing her while you and I were talking. She quickly realized that they were pulling her leg, but it was funny for a little while.
So I'm guessing you decided to pass on this one? If so just hang in there the right truck for you will turn up when you least expect it. I hope all goes well with the move and feel free to call with any other questions. Also I get down that way quite often so if you do pursure that 1996 I may be able to help or look at it again for you.
Bob
P.S. Can somebody tell me how the use the Quote function I thought I figured it out once but if so I have forgot.
The center console at least on mine was wired so the switches in the overhead console would turn it on or that was the intent someone had changed the wiring on mine there is also a 2nd fuse panel w/ relays under the dash that controls the accessories like the tv & such and mine was missing a relay. I think the lack of power to the entire center console is prob an easy one to make it work
Bob the quote function in the quick reply box you click it paste the quote click again in the actual reply page it will pop up a java script window for you to put the quote into and then the 3rd way if you want to quote the whole message there is a grey quote button in the upper right corner of each post when you click it it'll take you to the replay screen with a box for your text and another box for the text of the message you quoted and you can edit out whatever you don't need in your message.

I've dickered down on the price some with the seller and still rolling this one around in my mind. Seller won't go anywhere even near 10k. Sure is a nice interior. I really do want the power stroke diesel as well. I'm just not quite sure yet exactly what I want to do but it is very close to what I want. http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif
