I just went to the Lords website to check the price of Velvet Ride shackles only to be greeted with a notice telling me they no longer sell them! http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/down.gif
Anybody have any idea where I might get a pair. I checked eBay already. Maybe I can find a dealer that still has some in stock.

This is where I bought mine. Out of Las Vegas Nevada, they still have them listed.

Hope that helps.

Looks like drivetrain.com is going to be the new source for these. I placed an order yesterday and they responded that they are temporarily unavailable because the manufacturer, (Lords), has stopped making them. HOWEVER, they (Drivetrain) are going to take over manufacturing and should be up and running in a few weeks.
Don't know if I will get mine in time four our two week trip to the west, though.

Curtis what kind of milage are you getting on your diesel? Both laden and unladen? I think mine is due for a diagnostic, milage is way down, and it shouldn't even with the big meats..mo

But okay, he runs a little different engine than you do, and yep you are going to lose mileage with new rubber and ride height.
If I was guessing you would be lucky to get 10-12 the way it is set up now.
Wind drag is a killer, my bug deflector and sun visor cost me almost 2.

Erik is right, my '94 has the IDI turbo diesel, and yours is the DI Powerstroke. Mine will get 14mpg under ideal conditions, but most of the time gets 11 or 12 unloaded and 8-10 pulling a big trailer. The Powerstrokes can get up to 20 mpg unloaded, but I hear that most 95, 96 models get 16-18. You are pushing a lot more wind now with your higher profile.

Yes Mo, The bigger tires will affect MPG even with your diesel,
But it's a small price to pay for the nice looking truck you get to drive all over town (and over whatever you wish)

If you didn't recalibrate your speedo after the bigger meats, you may not be getting a true odometer reading for fuel consumption calculations?
