2 things:

Is this my belated B-day present? *http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Will you bring it to the Centurion GTG for me? *http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I do like the color. Wonder if they really mean power windows on all 4 doors?

my guess would be Yes, my '95 has them on all 4 windows. I think the change came with when ford started making them available on the starter vehicles. The earlier ones I would guess were a conversion that centurion did themselves with OEM parts.

Have yet to see a 1 ton with anything but a 460. A 351 would be o.k., till you tried to tow with it.

based on the VIN position 8 is a "G" which makes it a 460

I like the color also. Wouldn't mind having that winch on the front. Too bad it isn't a powerstroke.

I like that leather front bench. That looks like one sweet truck, even if the roof is in need of attention it'd be a sweet truck.

So I looked at this and decided to buy another one. The roof has the cracks on it. I actually took it to a garage and put it up on a lift. The carfax was clean.

The body shop wanted 500-1000 to fix the roof. Bocheks Cheswick does top notch work and the price range was that from pictures they didn't know how much filler had to be ground off.

The draglink and one tirerod end needed replaced. There was 300 bucks worth of parts.

There was an oil leak that didn't look too bad at the front of the engine. unfortunately, I couldn't tell where the leak was but it was not the oil pan.

The radio didn't work.

The back air and heat didn't seem to work

The tailgate was in very good shape

There were some rust bubbles on the passenger side near the front and back of the running boards that would develop into something horrible if not fixed immediately.

I calculated around 1700 dollars worth of work

Oh, and the winch was sold, so you now have this huge ass'ed bumber with a giant hole in it.

The Serpentine belt squeaks up a storm when its started up.

With gas reaching new highs, you could get a pretty good deal on it. The interior is in really good condition and it is really nice, I just found a better deal on a 1990 that actually looked sharper.

I had a list of things that I can't remember right now. If you want more info email me at ddrake_pgh@yahoo.com.

I would pay no higher than 11,800 for it as that was what I got them down to before I bought the 1990.

If it was a diesel, I would have payed the asking price for it.

Great write-up ddrake_pgh!
Very informative, should give any potential buyers some good bargaining ammo.
