Well, I've cut her down for the last time.....

the seatbelt, not my wife ?http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/HistericalSmiley.gif

Does anyone have any good ideas on where to get a front passenger seatbelt? ?Ford wants $500 http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/new_shocked.gif and can't guarantee they can match my grey interior http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wtf.gif . ?It started to fray when I got it, took out my hot knife and smoothed it out and tried to put an angle to it so it wouldn't get caught anymore, well....... I've had to cut it twice more and now I'm down to a less-than-inch-wide belt in one spot. ?I keep watching ebay and nothing. ?Closest junkyard to me is a good hour away. ?And even then they can't guarantee they'll have one.

Help my wife, please!!!! lol ?http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/HistericalSmiley.gif

I'd be willing to go to the junk yard in Omaha when I get home; which ford grey is it pics???

I've already got the "bit" (what would be the name for that tool?) needed to remove seat belts because of my truck so no biggie.

Try eBay, I frequent the junk yard and would grab you one, but I am not going back until the weather clears up a little.

I would guess your seat belts are the same color as mine since the exteriors are the same. I just looked at the belts in my van they are also the same color. They also look like they would work in the truck app. Here is an idea. Do you know anyone that has a 15 pass Ford van? You could try to get their rear belts if they don't use them. Maybe some one could check the junk yards for vans also, if they haven't found the right truck ones.

Sorry I can't send you mine, I just never know when I have to throw the rear bench back in.

Ok, latest update.... today was a day of tinkering and junkyard play. ?http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif ? Unfortuantely still do not have a seatbelt. ?I did, however, find out some inportant stuff. ?Our front seatbelts can only come from a crewcab truck. http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif ? While at the junkyard today I pulled one from a regular cab and a supercab just to find out that neither of them will fit. ?I thought I could just make them fit, change the bracket, but the main assembly will not fit behind the b-pillar's interior panel. ?http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/down.gif ? My dad is going to check around through some truck shops, but until then, if anyone knows of a 92-97 F-350 crewcab in a junkyard near them, let me know what it would cost me to get some help. ?http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/upside.gif ? Oh, and how much it would cost me to get a new seatbelt from said truck shipped to 61761. ?http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif ?Maybe I can find time to pull about the c-pillar and see if that belt is the same as the b-pillar's. ?Anyone know?

Thanks ya'll!!! http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wavey.gif

I'll swing by the yard on the way home from work tomorrow and see if the crew cab they have is a grey interior. I should remember since I was there thursday getting parts off the same truck. And shipping will be no problem.

keep us updated Brandon, I get home to Nebraska again next week sometime and when I do I can check Hansen's which only carries newer model trucks in their junk yard.

Well swung by the yard that I knew had a crewcab in there and It had a blue interior http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif so I didn't get a price. I went to thier neighbor and they told me $350 http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif and they could "get it." I'm going to call some of the others around here that give reasonable prices and see if they have a crew cab.

Here is my latest update from my dad's end......

A truck parts place he called said they had a "pile" of seatbelts, $20 each, but of unknown origins, kinda all thrown together. ?Dad doesn't know what to look for, so looks like I'm gonna have to take another 2 hour trip to see him. ?Not sure when this one will happen though. ?I'll keep everyone up to date, and thanks!!! http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

All better!!!

Went to the place my dad told me about, and they had one.... brown, but for $20 when I'm in a hurry who cares. Maybe someday when all my other projects are done I will put in a gray one. Thanks again everyone, now I'm off on vacation for a week.

Laters!!!

Did you snag a new bezel piece for where the belt comes out of the moulding?
It looked like that was what was cutting the belt 2 me.

OOOooooohhhh. Vacation! I want one!!!! http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
