This one is only about 45 minutes from where I live. Wish I had the dough for it, but if any of you want me to test drive it for you, that would give me a good excuse to go check it out. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll try to contact the owner.

Yeah, it even comes from the same place, doesn't it? You bought yours in Utah, right?

I can't resist any longer. I'm going to go look at this one if he still has it. Maybe I can talk my credit union into giving me another auto loan. I left a message with the owner for him to call me. Any tips on specific things to look for?

Good luck, and the roof is the worst thing I know of, look for the cracked bondo which isn't serious, and look at the door posts and see if they are rusty.

I test drove it this morning. ?It's in very good shape, except for the usual rust spots. ?It runs well, and drives nice and smooth. ?I just gotta have one of these. ? http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/main/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
Now if I can just figure out how I'm going to afford it. ?

Here are some pics I took of it:

First the exterior

Interior is nice except for the small tear on the driver's seat you can see in this picture, and a cracked dashboard that I didn't get a picture of.

Now under the hood. The engine looks really clean for a ten year old vehicle. Runs strong. It's a 460 (just what I wanted).

My roof wasn't much better than that. Looks like he has had some water down the door posts.

Definately not too late to salvage. Well never too late I guess.

It might still be priced a little high.

$4000 and I can afford to tear it down, repair the rust, and give it a color change paint job...
