I called the seller & asked a few questions.

miles:146K
4X4 with auto-locking hubs. I don't recall the salesman name, i'm sorry http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/down.gif . They're asking $16900 for it. I'm thinking though, you probably could negotiate a little with cash

You will find that west Coast prices on a diesel will probably not go below $14,000ish, they are still getting that for a crew cab diesel in my area and more. I paid almost $15,000 for mine. It looks very sweet for someone on the list. How about you MAX!!!..............Mo

Max that PowerStroke has just gotten broke in. Except for the bigger power increase and rear disks a comparable Excursion is almost $30k, mid $20k with milage. Hell I was offered $10K for my Falcon and I wouldn't sell it for under $12k. Guess ?it's all subjective and what you're into....Mo

You don't know how right you are... http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif ? Excursions may be more, but you have to remember that they also do not have the structual integrity problems of the body splicing that will happen sooner or later on the four door broncos. ?Like you said it's subjective...and I'm a little ?http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wacko.gif ?anyways.

Don't get me wrong I was going to buy the wife an Excursion, but she didn't want it. Saidm y Cent was big enough. Thing is a cent is 1 of 2000 an excusrsion is 1 of 2000000 or so. Besides I added some more cross members while doing the lift so the only flex I get is from my suspension. Besides I like a really D60 up front not a unitized bearing D50(wait till those bearings go big $$) and I like the fact that any 8 bolt pattern will fit, while the Excusrsion uses the new metric pattern. Hey does the Ex use a carrier bearing or is it a 1 piece d-shaft? And it seems that even with only 2000 units made it lasted 11 or 12 years, i heard the Ex is getting the ax this year. To bad even with my Cent bias(and proud of it) I still liked the EX...Mo

That sounds like all the more reason to get this one. http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *I'm with Mo on it just getting broken in mine has 155k and I have no question about her reliability, I'm just doing some routine preventative maint.

The price is right in the ballpark for the bluebook value. http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/down.gif My guess is that they've had it on thier lot for quite a while and are looking to get rid of it so the 16900 is merely a point to start dickering. *Unless they paid that much for it you should be able to get the price out the door down to around 12-13k which is more reasonable.

Oh and for an Excursion I believe it was RTM who commented on how much smaller the ex seemed in comparison to his Cent. The price to fix the seam problems is going to be in the same rough price range as the unit bearings that Mo mentioned if not the roof being slightly cheaper, since the bearings are 300/wheel from autozone. oh and ps they aren't serviceable either.

You all are quite persistent. *Yeah I like four door broncos, but the exclusiveness of the four door doesn't really mean much to me...and I'm only one guy so the space factor between the Excursion and Four door won't be a factor either. *If the right four door comes along then maybe...until then... http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/drkbd.gif

Max, we are persitant and if you really want one you'll find the right one for you. *It's only me so I'm in the same boat about not "having" to have the extra space. The one thing I will say for the Ex is that they ride smoother than my cent. I got mine for the ability to haul people when needed and tow.
