I'm considering buying a '96-'97 4x4 diesel C350, But I know nothing about them?

I am very familar with Broncos, But thats about as close as it gets.
I plan to use it for Towing my Pre-Runner Bronco & my Samurai Rock Crawler/ Mud toy.

I also usually camp in the back of my dually while out in the desert.
Do the back seats fold down flat?
& if yes, is there enough room in back of it for two people to sleep comfortably?
How long is the space between the tailgate & whatever is up front? ( the back of the front seat? )

& how wide is it between the wheel wells?
I know my Duallys bed is 8 feet long, but I have not measured its width.
But I will go measure it tonight..

Thanks for all your input.

& I wonder how hard it is to find a diesel Centurion C350 in the Los Angeles area?
I've not been looking around for them, But think I would of noticed if I ever spotted one?

Ok, I just went out & mesured the bed of my Dually & Bronco.

& I'm shocked to see the Broncos bed is wider than the duallys bed!?!?!

The Dually between the wheel wells is 4' wide.
The Bronco between the wheel welss is 4'3" wide.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Make sure you check out the "For Sale" section for a list of most of these trucks for sale around the country, these folks don't miss many that are available.

If you are looking to camp in it then you'll want one that has the second row bench seat. The second row bench seat will tumble forward and the third row does lay flat on the later model trucks.

I'm 6' 6" and I've camped in mine a few times. The distance between the wheel wells is the same as a regular truck, 4 feet, but the rear bed elevates you above the wheel wells so plenty of room for two. I just throw done a queen size air matress and there is plenty of leg room. I have not measured the length but it's plenty, over eight feet I'd guess. I also put a couple coolers between the second and third seat to provide more support.

Best of luck with your search,
Bob

To be honest, I'd have no need for a 3rd row seat.
So if it had one, I'd probably keep it folded to flaten out the rear or I'd remove it completely & stick it in the garage.

You got any spec's? or available options listed on what was available with these rigs?

What trannys came with them?

I am looking for the options & spec's on the 7.3 PSD models.
I'm thinking I'd really prefer a C350 over the C250 considering it main purpose is to tow my other toys out to play.
