I am looking for a 4-door bronco or diesel pickup. I would prefer a diesel bronco but i could convert it later if I found the right deal.
I am kind of unofficially selling my truck but I would do an immediate trade if a good one presented itself. Its got the 6.9 diesel, 4-speed trans, 156Kmi. It has always been very well taken care of. I knew the original owner so there is no funny business about the mileage. I am sure most of you know there is no 6th digit on the odo on these trucks. It is a supremely nice truck for the year and I use it as my daily driver. It has always been well taken care of and it shows, over all its nice, the paint is good to about 10 ft, then you can notice some imperfections, it is mechanically superb and the biggest flaw in the interior is a few stains on the seat, no tears, perfect dash, rubber floor. I take it camping often and it loves the road, I dont have a tach in it but I usually cruise around 65-70 and it is happy. I have towed with it 3 times, the biggest load I had was a 300mi trip with a 65 mustang and the bed was full of parts, the trailer was 1500#, car est 3500#, maybe 500# in parts so 5500# load and the truck pulled really good the whole way. I am so satisfied with this truck, if I didn't have a need for a back seat I wouldn't get rid of it. Located in northern VA.

Thanks 4DOOR, you got some really nice vehicles as well. Do you want to take a trade in on my truck? I want your cuda, I have 3 mustangs, always have had mustangs, but I love those cudas! Its prob the only non-ford muscle car I would own.

dieselbronco, Since I am in no hurry, I would like to try and work some kind of trade so I dont have to be out of a truck. I would start at 6K for an outright sell and work my way down from there.

I forgot to list one of the most important things about this truck, it has the full hypermax turbo setup on it with the 4in exhaust. If I find a diesel centurion and the owner isnt interested in a trade than I may keep the turbo and lower the price, it was around $1600. Or if someone had a IDI diesel centurion or crew and wants to take less of a trade but is looking for a pickup ill convert mine back to N/A. Right now the turbo oil return line is leaking, my plan is to fix that in the next few weeks, its hard to say if there are other leaks since that one is kinda bad. Ill see after I replace it.

On the interior shot, there are 4 ISSPRO gauges under the ashtray, I am keeping those. The boost and Pyrometer in the dash stay with the truck :)

And yes the truck used to be brown :pke:

Wow thats one nice 84, all the right stuff.
Sorry out of my price range but I did have a diesel Bronco.
It was a 1988 Eddie Bauer with all new panels including a 96 front clip. When I bought it I installed a rebuilt 6.9 IDI and a rebuilt C6.
I drove it as a daily driver, and made a few trips south with it to bring back rust free stuff.
I played around with gear ratios and tire sizes and ended up with a 3.00 ratio 9" posi and the stock dana 44 front TTB. It worked well and got decent economy even pulling a load. I ended up with Michelin LTX 31/10.5/15s. It carried a load well and got over 20 mpg empty on the highway. I sold it in a moment of weakness(broke) and have regretted it since.

Your 84's powerplant would be well worth the transfer to a nice 80-86 Bronco and you could still sell the 86 W/O powerplant. (nice clean truck!)

And Yes the TTB front worked well, all i did was use diesel 2wd coils. Definitely need a 9" rear though, I ate up the 8.8 in less than 2 months!

I must have missed it. How much were you asking? Thinking about getting a diesel truck but haven't decided on regular or extended cab.

Wow, it's got a Hypermax turbo kit on it!

Did you install the turbo kit or did the last owner?

How long ago was it painted from brown to white?
