I'm looking for a valance for a 1995 C350. My Centurion took one on the nose and I have all parts I need except a valance - the one with the round holes for driving lights. Anyone know where I can find one?

Thanks!

Kerry

That has been very, very hard to find. I don't think anyone has found one yet.

Do you have all, or most of the pieces of the old broken one?
I happen to know someone that isn't too bad at fixing them, no matter how bad they are.

I too have one that needs to be repaired. I would like the info. Sorry for the hijack.

I'll have to check with the body shop to see if they still have it and if there is any way they could repair it. From the pic, it doesn't look all that bad, but I don't know.

That is an easy fix.

They are just fiberglass. The one on the C350 Audra has now was torn up pretty bad and I repaired it. If I would have put a little effort into it, I doubt anyone could tell it was ever repaired. I added a little more beef where it bolts to the bumper.

Have to ask her what she thinks. I thought it turned out great.

I had thought of making a mold, but never had time, or thought it was worth while.

Send it to me, I will take care of it. Even if you don't want it. I would love to purchase the pieces.

If you want it back unpainted, $50 would cover just about any repair, and that is just because the cost of the fiberglass.

That is an awesome and generous offer. Thanks!!! I'll definitely keep it in mind. The shop is currently looking at it to determine if they can repair it. If they can't I'll definitely let you know. Thanks again!

Good looking truck. (well except for the customized front end) It looks like it may be the same color as mine.

Did you hit a pole or what.

We'd love to see more pictures.

My wife T-Boned a Jeep Grand Cherokee doing about 40 mph. She hit the Cherokee on the drivers side. The left front corner of the centurion hit just in front of the front door post of the Cherokee and the left corner of the Centurion hit the center post behind the drivers door. The driver of the Cherokee only had some cuts and bruises on his left shoulder. My wife had my 14 year old daughter in the passenger seat at the time. No serious injuries to anyone involved. A testimony to both rigs if you ask me.

I will post some pics when I get a chance. The rig is Black with a 7.3 PSD.

You didn't by chance buy that with a bad engine did you?

Nope - the original owner was in Bend, OR. I bought it in 2000 from a dealer in Sandy, OR with only 30k miles on it.

Geez, what do I think? I think it looks like brand new. Don't let him fool you with modesty. He is a perfectionalist. These valances are not manufactured or sold right now anywhere. Chances of finding one not already broken are minute. I was hesitant to have one fixed and after it was installed realized how silly that was, it looks brand new. Certainly better than the torn up look. http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/chrs.gif

I'm sure it will live to ride again. *

Mine is a real dark blue but I like the black very much. *Also from the picture it looks like you may have the same roof line as mine which is higher than most. *When you have time to take pictures get a shot of the roof looking across. *On mine the ribs stick up higher than the fiberglass top. *

Thanks,
Bob

P.S. Welcome aboard by the way!!!

Hey Everyone,
I believe I have the original mold for the valence. I will look closer again tomorrow.
Let me know if anyone would be interested in any and how many? I don't know a price I haven't got the guy who is going to produce them to come out and look at them yet.

Wait for Audra to chime in, but I think we want 3.
