Sterling 10.25 w/ 4.10's & limited slip.

Hopefully I'll just need the housing, so if anyone knows of a 3.55 axle, that might work too.

Thanks again.

oh.......... and if you stumble on one.......... a BorgWarner 1356 would be nice too.

Just had a thought, if you are interested in Disc brakes on the rear it would be a good time to buy a complete axle from a '96-'97 E350 van. It has the disk brakes on it, and I am pretty sure it is a bolt on addition with no other changes required.

Have to search the salvage yards, or check the for sale section over at thedieselstop.com

Nice idea Mr Fix-it! Would it be compatible with the VSS and ABS systems?

Got any axle codes for the vans???

Now only if I had a spare axle laying around http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/down.gif I even checked out the craigs list for ft myers and there was nothing there. Really hoping Erik can get you hooked up with some axle info there.

Car Parts (www.car-part.com)

This is a good search tool, just input the part you need, and if you do not get enough results, you can submit a request to 1000's of recyclers. Good Luck

Redneck friend of mine has a '97 one ton 2wd van, with rear drums and 3.55s for $400.

I like keeping it local if possible.......... which I doubt!

I still haven't heard weather I can use the ring/pinion out of mine....... if I can't find a 4.10 w/ LS.

I guess I got lucky on car-parts.com... a 4.10 w/ LS for $350 delivered Monday.

WO HOOO! http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/jump.gif

The shop's getting into the tcase today or tomorrow. *Sooooooooo I'll probably be back on that site soon, or they might possibly be able to rebuild mine cheaper.

And they did fix the incorrectly installed front hubs.... * *http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/gunshot.gif at the other shop!

Okey dokey, an axle assembly and tcase will be delivered to the shop Monday for $585.75.

Not bad. http://www.fourdoorbronco.com/temp/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/action-smiley-033.gif

The best price I found for a van axle was $750 + shipping, but I guess my rear brakes are good enough. I'm going to upgrade the pads though on the next change.

Traveler is that a 10.25 or a 10.5? I have one listed in CA but when I did the search it showed a 10.5 spec and a 9.75"( d60 maybe) you know a code for the 10.25 ff srw
