please advise!!

I have found an 89 F-350 4x4 diesel w/ ats turbo with 196k mi. price is $9000 firm. Lots of miles body is perfect, drives nice, lots of power but i'm still afraid of the miles. Any feed bak would be helpful. Thanks!

I think 9K is a little high for a rig with close to 200,000 miles.
Well maintained diesels are supposed to last alot longer than gassers and my '89 460 lasted 294,000 miles befor I had to drop a new motor.
If it's a private seller I'd wait and see if it comes down a little.
The trucks are rare, but they are NOT made of gold!
Be patient, there are quit a few showing up for sale one will show up at the right price.
